Dr Oyibo explained my 8 week blood test results and their relation to my over active thyroid condition thoroughly, and in a way I understood. He also provided information regarding next steps, the possible outcomes and treatments for each of the outcomes. He clearly and patiently answered my queries and concerns, providing me options re stopping the beta blockers immediately or by weaning off them slowly, and discussing the inter relation with my copd condition (which the beta blockers are currently adversely affecting). He took the time to determine the best course of action for my current thyroid situation regarding reducing the disease of Carbimazole, and explained his reasoning for deciding to halve the dose. His ongoing monthly maintenance plan of monthly blood tests with discussion of results with him by phone for 2 months and a quarterly hospital visit to meet with him is a great example of exceptional customer service. It made me feel he valued my time re hospital visits, the time and cost of etc. Today is the best I have felt physically since all this started 10 weeks ago. Getting my thyroid levels back into range has obviously helped, as has stopping the beta blockers, however I do believe my appointment and experience with Dr Oyibo yesterday has also contributed towards this. My thanks to Dr Oyibo and I look forward to continuing to work him on a monthly basis.

Dr.Oyibo and his team are incredibly supportive, constructive and understanding and have through the advice given by Dr.Oyibo and the actions of both him and his support team have given me the confidence that I needed to make considerable and sustainable improvements in both my diabetic conditions and my health generally. Dr.Oyibo and his team are extremely caring and for myself as a person that has a major needle phobia they have found a workable way where by they get the quarterly hb1ac test results that I am also happy with. Dr.Oyibo and his team are a total credit to our national health service and I am really pleased that they are looking after me as I have total confidence in them.

I have been a patient of Dr Oyibo for several years and could not ask for a better consultant. His early identification of a pituitary gland tumour and subsequent treatment to reduce the problem could not have been more helpful. He has been unfailingly and immediately responsive to queries and has been supported by helpful and pleasant secretarial staff. It is difficult to suggest how his performance could be bettered.
